Zusammenfassung

Durch methodische Fortschritte in der chemischen Bestimmung des Progesteron wurden unsere Kenntnisse über die Bildungsstätten dieses Wirkstoffes und sein Schicksal im Organismus erheblich erweitert. Auf dieser Grundlage kann eine erfolgversprechende Therapie entwickelt werden. Die Ergebnisse der Behandlung funktioneller genitaler Blutungen können als beachtlicher therapeutischer Fortschritt bewertet werden.
