Aaron Wildavsky is professor of political science and chairman of the department at the University of California, Berkeley. He received a grant from the Social Science Research Council in 1965 for a study of the presidency in public opinion. Wildavsky serves as consulting editor for the Rand-McNally Research Series in American Politics. He is the author, with Nelson Polsby ofPresidential Elections (1964).
