Der Artikel untersucht die berg- und wasserrechtlichen Anforderungen an die Förderung von Erdgas aus unkonventionellen Lagerstätten (unkonventionelles Erdgas). Er zeigt mögliche Ansätze für eine gesetzliche Neuregelung der Vorschriften zum Umweltverträglichkeitsprüfungsgesetz auf.
