Abstract
In the proposed work, different techniques of the image processing in spatial domain in the field of biomedical applications has been presented. The proposed techniques are image inverting, image brightness addition, image brightness subtraction, threshold operation and contrast stretching technique. Here, the main purpose is to achieve better appearance and visuality with higher execution speed when implemented on real time hardware. The proposed system is developed and simulated using Xilinx System Generator with fewest possible blocks. Simulation results under FPGA Zynq 7000 series ZedBoard have been presented to validate the proposed techniques.
