Abstract
The results of Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) measurements have been analyzed in the Eastern Siberia region (Tunka Valley) received with the help of solar photometer CE 318 included in the international network AERONET. Background, average, extreme, seasonal and daily AOD values have been received for the period 2004–2008. It should be noted that Tunka Valley is related to the group of regions which is characterized by AOD seasonal process with autumn-winter maximum and spring-summer minimum. In daily AOD process there are peculiarities of AOD seasonal dynamics, but in general there is a tendency of AOD increasing in the afternoon for the region of Eastern Siberia.
