Abstract
A review of the results of experimental investigations on the determination of the energy deposition in cavities of nuclear-pumped lasers is presented. We consider the methods of (1) pressure jump, (2) interferometry, and (3) string calorimeter. A comparative analysis of the results of experiments and calculations to determine the energy deposition of fission fragments has been carried out.
