Revision of Limonium (Plumbaginaceae) in eastern North America

Abstract

The number of species ofLimonium in eastern North America has long been a matter of taxonomic concern. The complex of six to seven “species” is better treated as a single, highly variable species,Limonium carolinianum (Walter) Britton.
