Abstract—
A device based on smart alloys has been designed for use in machine building items, in particular, in nuclear engineering, for preventing anthropogenic and natural emergencies. The device breaks the electric circuit by cutting the electric wire bundle in case of an emergency increase in temperature above the permissible limit.
