Studying the Activation of 177Lu in (γ, рxn) Reactions

  • Published:
Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

Flux-weighted cross section integrals and weighted average cross sections of 177Lu at the threshold energies of bremsstrahlung gamma rays of 17.5, 20, 37, and 55 MeV are measured for the first time in (γ, pxn)-reactions. Results from modeling with the TALYS-1.9 and EMPIRE-3.2 software packages demonstrate the dominance of nonstatistical processes.
