Abstract
On initial reflection, I realized that I was not sure what the word ‘aesthetics’ actually meant. After looking it up in the dictionary1, I am even less sure. I find two definitions:

A branch of philosophy dealing with the nature of the beautiful and with judgments concerning beauty.

2.
The description and explanation of artistic phenomena and aesthetic experience by means of other sciences.
