Abstract
The forehead flap is an ideal technique for repairing facial defects after benign or malignant tumour removal. The traditional design of the forehead flap is based on the supratrochlear vessels of the paramedian suprabrow region. The donor scar is often still obvious even with the aid of a tissue expander. The main objective is to transfer forehead skin for reconstruction of the nose and paranasal regions. In this chapter, we describe a versatile design of the expanded forehead flap and illustrate this with our considerable reconstructive experience.
