Abstract
Asymmetry of the distribution of data; a distribution is skewed to the right, when the mean exceeds the median and the right tail is therefore longer than the left (typical for variables with a fixed lower but without upper bound, e.g. number of episodes); opp. normal distribution; → see also ceiling effect, floor effect.
