Zusammenfassung

Bildung und Ausbildung öffnen Grenzen, schaffen Perspektiven und ermöglichen Existenz und Integration in einem neuen Land. Dies war zahlreichen Hilfsorganisationen sehr bewusst, als sie nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg Bildungsprogramme für jüdische Displaced Persons schufen. Dabei ging es sowohl um den Bereich der Berufsbildung in seiner ganzen Breite als auch um das Universitätsstudium im Speziellen.
