Obstacles do not make the road impossible but only our effort more intense and the victory more gratifying! As the Scottish author and theologian William Barclay stated “Endurance is not just the ability to bear a hard thing but to turn it into glory.” While the world wide history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a religious movement that spire from the collapse of the Millerite movement (1830s), can be traced back their beginnings to 1843/1844 (Douglass 1998), in Venezuela the movement has its infancy in 1908 some 64 years later. The history of its development has the characteristics of severe obstacles raging from persecution, assassinations, harassment, financial hardship, and illness but having as an outcome the establishment of a strong solidified religious and social organization that is still striving till this day 109 years later.
