Abstract
Regiochemistry of the reaction of N-substituted propargylamines with dimedone in the presence of mercury(II) acetate was studied. Xanthene and diene derivatives, as well as symmetric mercury aminopropinides, were obtained, for one of which the crystallographic parameters are given.
