Abstract
The concentrations of 20 elements in needles of forest-forming species of the family Pinaceae, namely Abies sibirica, Pinus sylvestris, Pinus sibirica, and Picea obovata, have been determined by X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis. The ratios and accumulation series of elements indicate a tendency toward accumulation of anthropogenic elements and inhibition of the accumulation of essential elements. The XRF data showed that the concentration of conditionally toxic elements does not exceed the reference values for terrestrial plants.
