Abstract
Results are presented from a thermal activation analysis of the plastic deformation of single crystals of Ni3Ge intermetallic compound. Values of the effective energy of activation of plastic deformation are determined for different test temperatures. The effect the orientation of a single crystal has on the effective energy of activation is considered. Crystals deformed along the axes [100] and [\(\bar {2}\)34] are studied.
