Abstract
Epididymitis, congenital abnormalities, and iatrogenic injuries may all cause epididymal obstruction. Secondary epididymal obstruction after vasectomy may also result from epididymal blowouts caused by elevated pressure within the epididymis. The likelihood that an epididymal blowout will cause obstruction increases in direct relationship to the time elapsed since vasectomy [1].
