Zusammenfassung
Zur strategischen Marketing-Planung benötigen Unternehmen Informationen und Aussagen über die Zukunft. Der Wunsch, die Zukunft voraussagen zu können, ist so alt wie die Menschheit selbst. Die Griechen suchten das Orakel von Delphi auf, Wallenstein hatte seinen persönlichen Astrologen und heute findet man in nahezu jeder Zeitschrift Horoskope. Diese Formen der Beschäftigung mit der Zukunft gelten durchweg als unseriös, weil unwissenschaftlich.
