Conclusions
A study was made of the alkylation of isobutane with 1-butene, a mixture of n-butenes, isobutylene, and 2-methyl-2-butene in the presence of zeolite catalysts at 100° and a pressure of 20 atm. In contrast to acids, the alkylation of n-butanes with butylenes proceeds on zeolite catalysts. The “autoalkylation” reaction also takes place, the same as in the presence of acid catalysts.
