Conclusions

Alumina cement-based gunites, and chamotte and high-alumina artifacts, have a good resistance to the action of carbon monoxide. Under the influence of carbon monoxide, vibropressed cement based on highalumina cement disintegrates; pressed concrete of the same composition and blast-furnace lining display local damage.
