Additional information

Since 1980 he has helped to implement bilingual education programmes in several Latin American countries. He has worked as an associate expert and consultant to Unesco. In collaboration with Madeleine Zúñiga, author of La educación intercultural bilingüe en Bolivia. Experiencias y propuestas [Intercultural Bilingual Education in Bolivia. Experiences and Proposals] (1989), and with César Picón and Stefano Varese of Educación y pueblos indígenas en Centro América [Education and Indigenous Populations in Central Americal] (1987), besides several articles published in specialist journals and reprinted in collections.
