Calculation model for rock breaking with a wedge-shaped impact tool

Abstract

A mathematical model is developed for breaking a compact specimen with a rigid wedge-shaped striker. An interpolation dependence is derived for the minimum pre-impact wedge velocity on the physico-mechanical properties of oversize, its dimensions, and striker parameters.
