Samenvatting

De titel van dit overzicht kan op twee manieren worden geïnterpreteerd, aangezien het de fase weerspiegelt van de ontwikkeling van de kennis ten aanzien van de neuromusculaire fenomenen tijdens kortdurende stretching van normale musculatuur. Als de huidige wetenschappelijke theorieën voor waar worden geaccepteerd moet de waarheid een beetje geweld worden aangedaan om de bevindingen van klinische tests bij normale proefpersonen te verklaren.
