Zusammenfassung
Die anhaltend schnelle Entwicklung im Bereich Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien hat viele positive Auswirkungen, denen manche Gefahren gegenüber stehen. Die Kritik an diesen Technologien hat in den letzten Jahren zugenommen. Dabei wird mit Zahlen argumentiert, die Befürworter entweder nicht anerkennen, oder antworten, dass negative Aspekte im Vergleich zu positiven gering sind. Im Folgenden werde ich einige der wichtigsten Kritikpunkte ansprechen. Einige muss man ernst nehmen. Viele andere verlieren aber ihre Brisanz, wenn man sie unter einem neuen Gesichtspunkt versteht, ja drehen sich vom Negativen ins Positive. Der Abschnitt ,,Warum die negativen Aspekte in Wirklichkeit nicht negativ sind“ ist ein Plädoyer in diese Richtung.
