Abstract

In this paper, the high-order coupled variable coefficient nonlinear Schrödinger equations is studied. The double-hump soliton solutions for the equations are obtained analytically. Double-hump solitons for the solutions are presented with different parameters. Interaction properties of double-hump solitons are discussed. Results are helpful to enhance the soliton intensity in fiber systems using the dispersion decreasing fibers.
