Control of a Limited Resource on the Finite Time Interval in Automatic Queueing Systems

Abstract

A problem of establishing a dynamic price in the sale of a commodity with the finite serviceable life is considered. On the assumption of the Poisson flow of customers at the rate depending on the price and the time up to the end of the utility date, a method of maximization of an appropriate functional is worked out.
