Abstract

A mathematical model for describing the processes in the electrolytic bath involved in the deposition of calcium-phosphate coatings by microarc oxidation was proposed. The model takes into account diffusion in the liquid and solid phases and the basic chemical transformations in the particles and liquid solution. A code for numerical solution of the problem with allowance made for the difference of the characteristic scales in the different phase was developed. Numerical experiments were performed to examine how the parameters of the model influence the processes in the electrolytic bath.
