About the editors

Dr. Fornari is the Associate Dean of Educational Skills Development at Zucker SOM at Hofstra/Northwell and is the Vice President of Faculty Development for the 23 hospitals of the Northwell Health organization. Her faculty development role at both institutions is designed to align the UME, GME and CPD continuum. Serving in these roles allows her to bring UME curricular innovations to the GME programs and recruit educators from GME to participate in continuing professional development focused on teaching, learning and scholarship at the Zucker School of Medicine. Recognizing a need for additional faculty development to align UME and GME education, in 2016 she created and admitted the inaugural cohort to a Masters of Health Professions Education at Hofstra University, School of Health Professions and Human Services.

Ann Poznanski MD, PhD DipABLM/DipIBLM is a board-certified Pathologist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and International Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Poznanski has had a career in teaching and medical school administration. She is currently a consultant in Medical Education and Culinary Medicine. She served on the Board of Directors for American Association of Anatomists, the International Association of Medical Science Educators (IAMSE) and on the leadership team for Aquifer Science.
