Abstract

This paper presents a parallel algorithm for the direct display of solid objects represented by Constructive Solid Geometry. The algorithm overcomes many of the limitations of previous approaches by using an adaptive technique that ensures a high degree of parallelism. Performance estimates have been obtained by simulation, and a parallel architecture is proposed.
