Abstract
In this chapter, we describe the implementation and operation of a production cell simulation with graphical visualization.
The simulation imitates the behaviour of the production cell and can be controlled by a simple ASCII protocol. The status of the production cell is computed and visualized in realtime, sensor values are returned accordingly.
Furthermore, we describe how to get and how to install the simulation. The protocol for reading sensor values or error codes, and for giving commands is documented.
