Abstract
The Levonorgestrel-Releasing Intrauterine System (LNG IUS) is a safe, effective form of contraception. The number of women choosing an Intrauterine Device (IUD) as their form of contraception is increasing in the United States due to the fact that the LNG IUS is one of the least expensive, safest, and most effective methods of reversible contraception.
