  • 27 Accesses

Abstract

The term ‘class’ is a hotly contested one in contemporary social thought. There are many definitions, and much disagreement even among Marxists as to the meaning of the term. There will be no attempt at theoretical rigour in this book, nor will there be an attempt to discuss the various theories which have been put forward. Instead we will limit ourselves to a few cursory remarks.
