Abstract
While tourism continues its growth as one of the world’s largest industries, it is also experiencing major developments. Globalisation, the advances in technology, the changing nature of demand and that of competition are just a few to mention. These changes carry significant implications for tourism human resources and it is the purpose of this chapter to examine some of the arising issues.
