Abstract
So you’ve paid your dues, toiled for years, learned the ropes, and done all the things you need to do to establish your standing as a professional. Maybe you’re a professional in the old meaning of the word: a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer, an accountant, or the like. Or perhaps you’re a professional in one of the thousands of areas our complex, modern society has developed: graphic artist, investment banker, speech therapist, online marketing consultant, and so on.
