Abstract

In the last chapter, you saw how easily you can build InfoPath forms and use InfoPath to enter data into such forms. When examining those forms, the text primarily focused on using forms created and saved in a single location, even if that location was on your local computer. However, unlike data files for other Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access, you cannot simply copy an InfoPath form to another person’s computer and then open and use it. You have to publish the form either to that user’s computer or to a network file share that other people in your organization can access, the latter being preferable to the former.
