Abstract

You may have noticed that I have been sprinkling Workflow Tips throughout this book. My reason for using these tips so generously has been to make things clearer for you, the reader. It is one thing for me to explain something, but it is quite another to explain how you could actually use the concept in question. It makes for a more interesting and valuable book, and it also makes it more interesting and fun for me to write. After all, along with the click-this, click-that stuff, I have to translate what I am discussing into something you can use in your workplace.

Near the end of Chapter 4, l mentioned that sharing is a good thing. Acrobat 5 masters the concept of sharing a document among a group of people. In this chapter, we will look at collaborative processes—commenting, editing, versioning, and controlling.
