Abstract
Elisabeth Lagerlöf and Markku Aaltonen introduced the workshop, whose participants are experienced research managers, information specialists and OSH experts, with national and international roles. Research dissemination has been identified as a key issue by the heads of the major research institutes in Europe. The workshop was intended to allow the sharing of experience, the formation of a potential ongoing network, and the recommendation of future strategies.
The workshop was led by Elisabeth Lagerlöf and Markku Aaltonen, and held in Brussels, 23–25 November 1998, at the Office of the Swedish Trades Unions. It was organised jointly by the National Institute for Working Life, Stockholm, Sweden; the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, Bilbao, Spain; and the Nordic Institute for Advanced Training in Occupational Health, Helsinki, Finland.
