Abstract

The introduction of Metrizamide and its approval for routine use in myelography has had considerable influence on the present radiographic evaluation of the contents of the spinal canal. During the few years since Di Chiro and Schellinger (1976) first described their experiences with CTMM, the resolution provided by new generations of CT scanners has steadily improved, and the CTMM has now become an established tool in radiologic work-up of spinal lesions.
