Abstract
To be able to correlate an image with specific anatomical structures, the reader firstly needs to acquire an understanding of the anatomical position and surface markings, and secondly how this relates to the regional underlying anatomy. The regions are divided into Head and Neck, Thoracic, and Abdo-pelvic. Within each of these specific regions the format will be, the surface markings of that region and the corresponding vertebral level, also the underlying structures pertaining to it.
