Abstract
This case emphasizes the importance of performing a complete anesthetic evaluation of a patient with an anterior mediastinal mass. Having a well-developed plan for airway and cardiovascular management is essential to safe management. Finally, a discussion with involved team members for how to best manage the patient in the event of a catastrophic event.
