Abstract

Most of the chapters in this book deal with areas of image analysis to which I have made numerous contributions over the years. But since most of the chapter authors weren’t themselves in the field when I did my early work, and much of my work isn’t covered in the chapters, I’m taking this opportunity to present an overview of my professional and technical activities during the last half-century.
