Abstract
This chapter presents ways of using enterprise models to understand, (re)design, and make better decisions about enterprise operations and organization. Modeling approaches like flowcharts, SADT/IDEF-diagrams, and CIM-OSA models are static. Computer simulations demonstrate the business processes, but people follow them usually passively. Simulation games, on the other hand, get people involved and stimulate learning. The commitment of people for change is supported by the simulation game. Simulation games are a powerful tool for assisting organizational learning when implementing new systems or processes.
