Abstract

The run-time environment can be examined in detail by looking at the features and characteristics of the core platform services which make up the run-time environment. When examining the notion of a management platform run-time environment, as defined previously, several questions arise. How well integrated are these platform services? How well integrated are these platform services with the applications running over the platform? The following chapters will answer most of these questions.
