Abstract

Structure defects of tungsten carbide crystals in sintered WC-Co alloys were previously investigated (1). Dislocation networks with extended nodes and stacking faults on prismatic planes were frequently observed in the as-sintered material. The Burgers vector 1/6[1123] was found to be the displacement vector of the fault enclosed in the extended nodes and in stacking faults on the {1100} planes.
