Abstract

The utility of GLC for analyzing steroids in biological fluids depends on several factors; how well pure steroid can be chromatographed, how conveniently interfering compounds can be removed from the sample before analysis, and how small a quantity of steroid can be distinguished from the other compounds still present after purification. I will attempt to consider each of these points.
