Abstract
Several of Danny Lehrman’s papers show what a great interest he had in the nature of the concepts that are used by students of animal behavior. Historians of science have demonstrated again and again how important a searching analysis of concepts is for the progress of science. A change of concepts, or a drastic reformulation of existing concepts, may lead to a veritable scientific revolution.
