Abstract

GABA and glycine are regarded as inhibitory neurotransmitters in the mammalian central nervous system (Bernardi et al., 1975; Aprison and Nadi, 1978; Barker and Ransom, 1978; Nistri and Costanti, 1979; Alger and Nicoll, 1979; Levi et al., 1982; Bormann et al., 1987).
