Abstract

One of the common SAP pitfalls is a lack of skills needed to achieve project success. As SAP’s product suite has rapidly changed from enterprise to mobility, consulting organizations have failed to increase the skills or retrain its talent pool. If organizations spend time and money in hiring new people for projects from the market, there is always a learning curve to align with the industry. Therefore, the best practice is to industrialize your approach to project delivery. This approach reminds me of the Ford assembly-line technique, which laid the foundation for manufacturing across the globe and set automotive standards par excellence.
