Abstract

The sol-gel process provides a unique route by which a variety of inorganic oxides can be prepared by repeated hydrolysis and condensation reactions of inorganic alkoxides.1 Furthermore, this route has been used to produce a variety of organic-inorganic hybrid polymeric networks because the process involves mild and low temperature conditions in which organic components do not decompose.2~5
